Disc drives, removable storage, etc use to be grouped separately under my computer. Now under my computer they are all in one group. How do I get them back into separate groups?

    This might help :

    1. Click on Start and My Computer
    2. Click on View in the menu
    3. Click on Details (if you click on List the grouping disappears)

    1. Right-click, Arrange Icons by, select "Show in Groups" and after that
    2. Right-click again, Arrange Icons by, select "Type"

I am using xp home edition. Now when I click on my network places I get the same thing that I do when I click on my computer. I don't know what has happened to cause this.

I have both the problems solved but I have somehow started another. I have a home network consisting of a pc and a laptop. I can see the files on my laptop from my pc but for some reason when I click on the files I get a BSOD on my pc. What is causing this?
