Graphics card upgrade problem..

    Perhaps moot at this point but did you connect the following to your card?

    An available hard disk drive power dongle (smaller floppy disk drive connector is not sufficient)

    Yeah I did Prius04, heck i've been so desperate to get this card up and running, I plugged it in, then tried it unplugged, everything. Oh well.

    Also I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their help in this matter. That's why I love coming to Wilder's everyday, the helpful people that are here. And I learned a few things the last few days.

    Hezakiah, let us know when the problem is resolved. There were quite a number of people viewing this thread and they will also gain knowledge in knowing the outcome. Thanks for all your efforts as well!

    Yeah, I would like to know too!

    Quite a few answers I found pointed to heat and adjusting the fan to cool off the card (as well as replacing the PSU, which you did.)

    I assumed you took that into consideration also?

    Well at this point everyone I'm just going to send it back and get a refund. I think just about all the obvious things were looked into. So I guess the card just won't work in my computer. Oh well. :( :'(
