    I'm quite convinced Google is inching closer to being "the man". For one, they're nothing more than a giant data collection agency that tosses a few tools at end users in exchange for more data. For another, their ties to the same governments they're being transparent about can't be ignored. It's next to impossible to know if these reports are even a tiny percent of the picture, God only knows what they're being told to or willingly keep back. Not that I'm knocking them actually releasing these reports, but it shouldn't cause users to celebrate or think Google is 100% on the side of users.
