Like this wasn't expected, lol. I really expect Google Glass to be a rather quickly passing fad and, going by their latest comments, I think Google does too. I mean, when the company comes right out and says you'll look stupid working with the device, and that it will lead to distractions, there can't be much hope for a long future. I can't help but wonder if Google just did what Google does, then afterward asked itself "Why did we do this?"

If the general population did the things shown in the ads with that thing on their heads, they'd end up dead. Luckily it won't be very good for surveillance and creepy deeds, you'll know precisely what the person has on their head and having to talk to it even once will destroy any sneakiness you might have had.
