Google Chrome - Clarification

    Hi

    I am using Google Chrome v9.0.597.94 with Windows 7 64 bit along with SafeOnline v3.05.220.

    It would appear from a thread I just read a few moments ago that I have been blissfully unaware that Chrome 9 is not supported and yet I have been using it for Internet banking.

    To all intents and purposes Chrome & SafeOnline appear to work together. The green & blue logo appear in the right places and when I open an https site Prevx scans as it has been set up to do.

    So I have two questions:

    1) To what degree is Chrome 9 unsupported?

    2) What checks can I do to confirm to myself that I am indeed using an unsupported browser?

    That is enough to show that it is working properly. If the browser tab does happen to disappear, know that you are still protected - it has lost its context within the Chrome GUI but protection is still loaded.

    No biggie. I'm using Chrome 11.0.672.2 and it is working fine. No problems with it at all.
