    What options are there? -

Need to go do a clean windows install of a friends comp thats completely infested with spyware and viruses... Need to have a good Spyware blocker, not just some prog that scans for them since he refuses to use firefox.

    Any ideas?

SB is the one you should use to prevent from spyware infesting your PC. You can also download IEspyAds and run the registry key in the zip file to have additional protection.

    Hope this help

Many are successfully using the Microsoft Antispyware Beta nowadays...its free and is suppose to continue to be free...according to Gates. It does not yet block tracking cookies, however.

Another very good blocker is Webroot's Spy Sweeper...fee based...but most reasonable.

    Hi Dakhor,

I have moved your thread from the SpywareBlaster forum as it is not a SpywareBlaster support question. Your request for recommended spyware blocker programs will receive better attention in this forum. :)

    Regards,

    snap
