    Thanks for posting this acr.

I used the audio player in the standard GOM player for awhile and liked it, but it kept crashing in my XP so I switched over to PotPlayer. I might give this one a go and see how it differs from the other one then report back. I really like the audio player in PotPlayer though so it'll take a lot for me to switch.

Well, my first impression isn't that great.

When I installed it, I could have sworn I set it to not be the default player or associate any file types, but it did anyway.

When you open Preferences, the options menu's a little confusing at first.

The first time I opened it, the playlist window was docked at the side which is best place for it, but after subsequent openings it docked at the bottom and I couldn't find a way to move it. When you open the equalizer, it's right on top of the playlist window and you have to close or move the equalizer to see the playlist.

Compared to PotPlayer, the options are pretty sparse. They both have 10-band equalizers, but PotPlayer's has a lot larger range on each band.

It did sound fairly decent, but it's hard to say how true that would be after trying a variety of songs.

In my opinion it's just mediocre, but maybe someone who's used it longer can shed more light. Actually, the built-in audio player in GOM Player seems better if it would just work. :)

this is actually the first time I have heard of a specific GOM audio player.

their media player has been my default player for several years now.

regarding audio I will stick with my mediamonkey gold.

I'll probably stick with Spider Player although sometimes I use Foobar and AIMP 3.
