    Hi all,

May be of interest to some of you office-using people:

I've written a review of Go-oo, a cross-platform collection of patches for the OpenOffice suite that offers better import/export filter for a variety of file formats, additional languages, SVG graphics, VBA support, and more. Enjoy.

Well Mr. Linux Systems Expert, you're not too bad on Windows either :D

I know quite a few people who will find this very helpful.

    Thanx

does it auto update like regular openoffice? or do the updates have to be downloaded from their site for each new version and if so, how can u check if thers a new version, do u just have to visit their site every so often and manually check?

No. I downloaded Go-oo from their official site, but when I tried to install it,it said I had a newer version of openoffice so it asked me to uninstall the newer one first.

But I had thought that Go-oo 3.1.10 is up to date according to OO's newest version 3.1.1. :doubt:

Sorry but what do you mean by "the build number is lower"?

3.1.10 is not lower than the build number of OO which is 3.1.1 I think. o_O

the newest openoffice is 3.1.9420 and update notifier is asking me to update to it so i guess that Go-oo is a bit behind the normal OpenOffice
