I can't complete the full scan of my system ( XP SP3 ) with GMER: every time I select also the " file scan " in GMER, the scan freezes and blocks my system and I have to reboot it.

I believe that GMER is in conflict with GesWAll, because sometimes after the reboot the GesWall icons of my untrusted files are changed. I have not other clues. I never had this problem in the past. Someone has any conflict problems using GMER ?

No, GMER runs not isolated. I use always two sw antirootkit: one is RootRepeal, the other OSAM now. Icesword unfortunately is not continued. Anyway I'm not sure that the cause of the conflict is GMER. It could be Avira ?

i have used both lot of times, on XP SP2, No conflicts. However for your system, the only way to be sure is to uninstall geswall and see if it's ok. Did you check geswall log?
