GIMP 2.6.7 comes with lots of bug-fixes and it contains an important fix for using GIMP with the latest GEGL and babl releases. Please have a look at the NEWS file for a detailed list of changes.

When you upgrade GIMP, do you remove the old one or can you go over the top of the existing version?

I don't see it listed on the GIMP downloads page. Latest version is still 2.6.6. Where did you find 2.6.7?

NormanF, you are correct. The GIMP Home page states: "Binary packages for the various supported platforms should become available soon; please check the Downloads section." Not there yet.

I switched from the installed version to the portable one. Easier to upgrade... :)

Keep an eye on here, you can expect the Windows compile in a few days.
