I purchased BitDefender 8 Standard last week. While it provides robust protection, the 32,000k memory usage is unacceptable to me. I'm thus asking for a refund. What I will do instead is purchase Dr. Web for on-access protection, and then puchase Safe 'n Secure with the BitDefender on-demand scanner. Is this solid?

    Please advise.

Back it up with a free on-demand Trojan scanner like A-Squared or Ewido. Everything else is OK to me. :)
