Getting rid of Australis

Thunderbird 15 is there. With it comes, whether you like it or not, the Australis theme. On the Mozilla wiki, it is described as 'Theme Refinement and Evolution' (sic). It appears to be the pet project of one man, Stephen Horlander.

Australis reminds me of Windows Vista in that it adds eye candy and little less. At least Microsoft was kind enough to give its users choices and let them customise their interface. One has to give Microsoft credit for having learnt to listen. It is brutal beyond belief that Mozilla doesn't and hasn't.

Kill Australis! Or at least provide your loyal user base with choices.
