    Hey guys I've got a license for pro version. Is it really "set and forget"? If so, do I still need some sort of real time protection? Thanks.

    10 years old! What is it - Radio Shack TRS-80? :D
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    But seriously -- I'm surprised that GW lags your box, even as old as it is. GW is generally quite fast & light because it uses Window's built-in calls. By the way -- which OS? how much RAM? CPU speed? How many HDs? How big is page file?
    Just a periodic scan with MBAM? Would you say I'd be safe installing Geswall Pro on the family pc without an AV?
    that's right.
    i also of course scan with MBAM any file i download.
    if other people/the family is gonna use the computer you might want to also run a free AV like Avast, Avira etc...
    just to be on the safe side.
    i tried Geswall with Avast and both worked together well.
    GesWall is also very customizeable if you know what you are doing. You can write specific rules for many different apps. There is at least one screen capture poc that bypasses GW's isolation though. I used the Pro version for a long time and it saved my butt on more than one occasion. I think you can make rules to isolate Iron. I thought I had them saved somewhere but I can't seem to find that file.
    Can anyone say why Softpedia adds this warning on their GesWall page :
    "NOTE: Only for advanced users. Please be very careful. Your operating system may not start anymore!"
    I don't know. I used it since 4 years and I had a system conflict once, with 2.6 version, using it and SSM and KIS together ( it was an experiment ).
