Run the pro, after trial it will turn into free one. Or wait for official release shortly.

Good to see folks updating their wares for Windows 7 support so swiftly. A thumbs up for that. :thumb:

Being an old and crumpy type, though, I must wonder why they don't post any checksums for the installers on the website. This may be 2009, but corrupted downloads can still happen, and checksums would be nice to have, especially for the kind of people who would download software like this (generally folks who know how to check that the checksum is correct). ;) One of you guys who uses this thing might consider suggesting that to the developer(s).

I can't install it. :( I'm using GesWall 2.8 from many months, without problems, and I have always the same system configuration, But I'm not able to install the 2.9 version. It says that may be I have not all the privileges, and I have only an account, Admin. I tried upgrandiong the 2.8, uninstalling the 2.8, uninstalling also Comodo Internet Security, even if it never did me problem with GesWall, but nothing to do.. May be it's a version bug ?

Maybe - depends a lot on how thoroughly they've tested it themselves I guess. :)

I suspect not too much testing. I am finding some odds. Also there was not even a beta release.
