    Hi everybody,

I read through the forum but could not find any satisfying answer...

Password strength in the German version is really good:

Enter - when you create an image - a pwd with german umlaut and true image does accept it.

When you want to restore the image, you are not allowed to use the german umlaut...

So the backup is very secure - nobody can access it anymore - not even you ;-)

OK, that's the funny side of life...

Is there anybody who can tell me if there is a workaround? (in other words: HELP o_O )

I tried all characters from the keyboard to get the done replacement for the german umlaut-o, btw the combination ALT-0xxx is not beeing accepted.

Thank y'all in advance for assistance.

    Best wishes from Germany

    Chriswr3

Do you use a German version of Acronis True Image?
German Umlaut is supported in German version only.
