Acronis TrueIMage was better than Norton Ghost.

The only negative aspect, was that the compression ratio from TI was not so effective like in Norton Ghost

 

IMHO you can't compare TI to Ghost 9.0. Symantec did very poor work. I tried both Ghost 9.0 and TI 8.0. Result: TI simply does what it is supposed to, Ghost is (MY) wasted money........Example: GHost comes on a CD that is bootable, but just capable of restoring images, not create images (if it would work, that is..)my system (AMD 3000 with 1.5Gb ram) needs appr. 6 minutes (yes, six minutes) to boot with that CD, and I'm no exception. That's pure B-Sh*t! I'll stick to Acronis True Image. It's not perfect, but might, come time....!
