Game Demos

    I have not used those game demos that come with gamer mags as i have not trusted them to be free of malware.............are they squeaky clean or not ?

    For me, 99% clean because 1 demo had spyware (but just one) :p

    I wonder about that because look at what Sony pulled. Perhaps some of these game demos will come with a rookit as well, to prevent illegal copying or something along those lines.

    Who knows for sure what the future holds for this type of malware being used by big name companies, not to mention not so big companies. Maybe others will try a similar stunt to what Sony attempted.

    When one big company does something wrong and continues to do so, only then will the smaller ones jump into the bandwagon.....

    Just use a frequently updated and good malware defence software and you'll be fine :D

    But Sony did pull back didn't it....now others don't want to make themselves infamous, therefore it wont happen again for some time.....I think :D
