what befuddles me is, they are currently sitting on a pot of gold and act color blind. They think it is just rocks. With all the testing of late on how well they are doing, they are missing the boat by a mile. I really cant understand it.

well the reality for anyone wanted to purchase any product, regardless of support, is to trial it for 30 days to see how it acts with anything else on your PC. After 30 days if all is fine then you should be ok to purchase the software.

Good Evening ! Trjam it's truly unfortunate you've been abused and neglected by the new G-Data world-disorder. Until this company has a true U.S.A. and Canadian affliliate pre and post sales office, then it's BUYER BEWARE ! This whole mess is a borderline exercise in Masochism ! Life's too short, stick with a North American Presence. If the Germans want too invest in a capable, competent North American presence, then and only then can they be considered a Genuine Player. Sincerely...Securon

They had the same offer but only for 15-month license last Sunday. I purchased license during this promotion for my friend but received regular 12-month license. I tried to contact support and sales but without success (no surprise here). No biggie but just heads up guys…. o_O

Thanks for the heads up mate. I got that 15-month license for G DATA AV at 6th of December. You should note that discount/offer when completing the offer.

Their support seems to be bad indeed.

There was an option to select 12 or 15 month license. We selected 15-month. G Data support has always been poor but I though they improved a bit…. :shifty:

no matter how good the deal, and can you buy from someone who will not even speak to you. I sent them at least 30, nice, emails and heard nothing.

    OMG!!
I find this surprising coming from someone as astute and diligent as you. You have used/tested many AV's and I presumed that a company with that type of poor service would never catch you in their web of poor customer service.
    No offense intended :)
That is some p$%^ poor service
Sorry to hear about your experience Jeff, and I hope we all learn from it.
Let us know if you ever get any response from them.
    Thanks for sharing.
(makes note to self..never buy that AV)
    Cheers :)

I ordered G Data Internet Security 2010 today. I got only 12 months instead of 24. Lucky me. This company is something special indeed. :thumbd:

Something went wrong on the Dutch website, it seems the 20% discount does not apply on the 2-year offer (while it should). Nevertheless, it's a shame they only accept a credit-card payment...

It's not only you. I had the same experience today. I have sent G-Data an email about it and all I can do is hope, as I see what happened to trjam.

It was already on this morning too... I got an email after I paid stating that I had a license for 24 months while paying for 12, after installing the code G-Gata IS2010 told me that I had a license for one year. So stupid. And the prtogram made surfing a hell. It all became very slow, due to the guard. They have some work to do, but custom satisfactory is the most important aspect of what they have to do, it seems to be absent.
