FYI... BurnAware no longer free

    Just checked for an update to free BurnAware. It's gone, replaced by 3 paid versions.

    If you have the last free version (1.3), hang on to the installer! ;)

    It's a shame it's gone as the free version had the simplest to use GUI of all the free burner apps. Guess that leaves CDBurnerXP and InfraRecorder for me. (I know there are others but these are my free faves...)

    Yes yes one of these litle gems go payware,i will say its no supprise, almost too good to be freeware. :D

    A few sites not hosting the free version download but still available at Major Geeks as of this posting with a release date of 2008-05-12 .

    The last free version is actually 1.3.1 but thats a minor detail.

    Anyways its sad to hear about BurnAware; we need more good freeware burners :(
