When I open tools, add-ons, I immediately get an attempted DNS connection to "services.addons.mozilla.org". I don't understand why this is necessary for the FX browser to attempt a connection to Mozilla whenever I open the "add-ons" section. The few add-ons that I run are all security-related and FX 3.0 approved. All automatic updates are unchecked. It seems that FX 3 isn't as quiet as the previous versions in respect to "phoning-home", for some reason, as, several times, I've noticed attempted FX unsolicited DNS traffic as well as attempted 443 traffic, all to mozilla.org. Any suggestions to what to modify in about:config to shut down FX from automatically phoning home (or anyplace else----Google, etc, for that matter). thx

Because in the new version of FF the tab "get add-ons" of Add-ons dialog is actually a browser.
I'm not sure is it possible stop this feature.
