Good Evening ! Back to using WSA Essentials and am wondering how do I know that I'm protected when I'm on one of my chosen websites? Unlike Prevx Safe On Line their doesn't seem too be any indication on WSA Essentials to notify the user that they're being protected. Sincerely...Securon

All supported browsers HTTPS sites by default are protected by looking at the Tray Icon and seeing a padlock on it! http://www.webrootanywhere.com/sah_Identity_Protection.asp?n=Managing_protected_websites

Good Morning ! Triple Helix...Went to Identity Privacy and entered my chosen websites. And when I go for instance to my banking site I see a green lock on my browser bar...not the webroot icon...the lock shown is one I suspect the bank provides as a secure incription notification. The link you previously provided shows the Webroot icon with a lock...that's not showing. Now when entering my websites should it state Global Policy instead of User Configured Policy? Sincerely...Securon

Are you using it with any other security software?

Good Evening ! Have Zemana Anti-Malware/Hitman Pro and that's it. Just uninstalled N.I.S. 2012 and cleaned it's registry traces with CCleaner before installing WSA Essentials. Sincerely...Securon

Zemana could possibly be the culprit here of why WSA isn't integrating correctly as they both try to perform some similar actions. Could you let me know what version you're using and exactly what browser version/OS?

    Thanks!

Can you uninstall Zemana and reboot to see if it solves the issue with WSA and report back? And also the version number of Zemana that you are using!

    TIA,

The next step is to uninstall WSA reboot and reinstall WSA and again report back! This is what we are looking for on the WSA Tray Icon when you visit a HTTPS site https://www.paypal.com/ Capture20-11-2011-3.18.50 PM.jpg

Hello ! I accessed my apps through Prevx previously and all was well...and they were all HTTPS...why the glitches with WSA? I'll give it one more chance. Sincerely...Securon

Good Afternoon ! Just re-installed Prevx 3.0 & Safe On Line and when I went to my banking site the Prevx Green Lock initiates itself...and did not on WSA Essentials. I've uninstalled WSA Essentials and gone with Avira 2012 Internet Security. I might retry WSA at a later date. Thanks for your Help. Sincerely...Securon

Is Prevx no more? I've still been sourcing it for my end-users. I'd be very concerned about changing to Webroot. I visited a Webroot end-user a couple weeks ago & their system was heavily infected.

Good Evening ! I currently have six days remaining on my Prevx license and still no Viable Alternative from Webroot in the Transitioning of the Prevx Users. Not only that based on my experience with WSA,which is Essentially no pun intended, not a positive one,why can't the Lock work on WSA Essentials this is a fairly basic function that provides the user with Peace of Mind. Black Friday's coming, Webroot better put it's Competitive Game Face on or they will begin to lose a lot of potential Revenue. Sincerely...Securon

It would be best to Install WSA and contact support to get the bottom of this issue as I have no problems on Xp, Vista and Win 7 all 32bit as well as Win 7 64bit! https://www.webrootanywhere.com/servicewelcome.asp

Webroot owns Prevx about year now and Webroot has built WSA on Prevx Technology! Joe will add his comments as WSA is superior to Prevx 3.0!

Not to confuse matters, but I see that icon when visiting non-HTTPS sites like here. I think this is because I have configuration for all HTTP websites set to High.

Yes that is true as I have the same setting but with default settings it wouldn't show!

Thanks for your reply. I was aware of the Prevx sell-out, but as a Prevx reseller, I've not been given any information about any Webroot replacement, so was hoping that Prevx would continue. Also the Prevx website says nothing about any replacement. Prevx is not as effective as it once was & I have regular customer infections reported with Prevx unable to clean. However I can find little to replace the product, so I have to stick with Prevx.

People can still buy Prevx from that website. Eventually, anyone who owns Prevx 3 will be automatically upgraded to WSA. I guess at some point the Prevx website will cease to exist.
