I have made a full backup of my laptop HD followed by several incremental backups.

I now want to make a differential backup since the full backup and then delete the incremental backup files.

Since the textual help indicates that a differential backup will include all files changed since the last full backup, I expect this to work without losing data.

Will the differential backup include all changes since the full backup or will it include all changes since the last incremental backup?

    Hello BACS,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Please notice that, as the chapter 3.2 "Full, incremental and differential backups" of the User's Guide indicates, a differential backup contains all data since the respective full backup.

    Thank you.
