I typically use filezilla for my ftp needs. Stable, free, it simply works.

Question: if I'm mirroring a remote site (call it B) to my site at home (call it A), what happens when site B deletes a file? Seems my home site A still keeps that file. Is there a way (or by use of another program) where I can get 100% exact duplication including deletes?

Not sure, but maybe BitTorrent Sync would work?

No it does not. BitTorrent Sync has nothing to do with ftp mirroring.

SyncBackFree does ftp sync with lots of options. But your ftp server must support MDTM command. Because some servers don't support MDTM and SyncBackFree always try to sync files already synced. Also be careful with bitsync, it's very unstable at the moment, there are a lot of threads saying it overwrite new data with old data.
