    Hey there,

for about 2 month we're now using ESS 4. So we're still in the trial.
It's a normal Windows server-client network and the ESS is managed with the console and in parts local.
I'm very satisfied with it, except two things.
A minor bug is, that i have to regulary sort the columns of client view in the console.

    My huge problem is another.
ESS now runs at 28 clients, most of them with Windows Vista and a few ones with XP. Except of little problems here and there, 25 of them working as usual.
But 3 clients, all of them with an updatet Vista and ESS 4.0.424, frequently freezes after idle more than about 15-20 minutes. At this point, the ESET log shows an event: "Amon: released file: PortLoop". And about 15-20 minutes after that, more and more programs don't give back any feedback and the PC freezes. It looks like the memory doesn't flush.

We've tried everything we could find to stop services or the energy options, which could start during idling, but it still happens.

It's also the third time, that i've installed it after a clean unistall.

    I hope someone could help.

    Greetings,
    Steffen

After a few days of silence, it's back.

I absolutely have no idea, what I can do.
I've tried do delete all i could find, even in safe mode.
The hidden plug and play drivers, the hidden profiles in appdata, there is nothing more to find.
But still after all cleaning and a clean install, the same symptoms came back.

    still searching for help :(
