Haven't used a mail program on my computer besides POP Peeper for quite awhile but am now trying the new Windows built-in one and the latest release of Thunderbird to access my hotmail, aol and yahoo accounts.

Everything is fine with hotmail and aol but am experiencing the yahoo access problems so many are having with the free account. Have tried a few suggestions online but no luck yet.

Has anyone managed to find a tested way that workso_O

One other question - anyone use this free service and can comment on it ? - http://gmx.com/

    Thanks

Is it free yahoo or plus? If free, what region of the world do you have your preferences set if i may ask?

    Thanks

From what i have read, older yahoo free accounts were grandfathered in when they decided to limit pop access to paid yahoo. My account is less than a year old.

However, using Zimbra Desktop, i finally figured out how to access my hotmail account so now i have 1 client accessing all my free accounts without the use of forwarding through other accounts :D
