    I believe that a magazine was giving away S.S. for free, but it is only for the magazine subscribers only. We aren't suppose to give that information out to the general public.

    OK sorry was trying to help. Just to say I do not have the mag and I got it and the key so it is available to all apparently

    If they offered a free key for the general public it would be fine to post it here. Giveaway of the Day offers free security products for free sometimes for an example.

    I got spysweeper with updates for 1 yr free no magazine here either works great and loving it thank you to the original poster/thread.Thank you to David anyways for the info.

    The links I posted were from another forum and I got the program and key without buying magazine. I respect rules here would not break deliberately

    It's good program then? Can I use it as an on demand scanner only?

    Just go to the settings and unclick the box where it says windows start up.

    So far I like its running well for me in full time along side my AV and yes you can disable real time by removing the tick.
