    That should only be a loopback connection.


    I notice that the background monitoring feature isn't very "active". I think it defragged the drives I had monitored when I left it overnight but it's not nearly as proactive as MSTDefrag's real-time defrag feature.

    "A loopback connection is a connection where your computer talks to itself. An application will often utilize loopback connections in order to send messages to itself (for example, to see if a previous instance of the application is already running)"

    In hopes that you'll upgrade to ver 12. Seriously, I don't know about the Internet connection required, if it really is (which port(s), ip address? ) but you will soon see their attempts to convince you to upgrade.
