Wanting to put a tiny truecrypt container in free cloud storage. Data is the bookmark file of firefox in compressed format to eliminate firefox's padding. Dropbox requires a local cache in the pc holding a copy of dropbox server data. It also requires a proprietary app. We do not want either.

Is there a free storage service that can download and upload the tiny file of the compressed encrypted bookmarks just as easily as ftp but by other means, that can go through anonymity http proxies?

That should be easy enough. All you would need is to know the file type requirements for the cloud management. Meaning, you might need to take the small TC container and "package" it as a zip file so that the cloud sees .zip instead of something else. For a file this small you could even use an email attachment as your private cloud wanna be. I am not mentioning specific cloud names as there are so many you couldn't count them all.

I'd like to upload it from the command line, as part of a script in linux, and download it likewise. Can this be done by means other than ftp, with a free storage provider?
