foxit v5 now up for download caution though

I don't think Chrome means to be a "full-functioning" PDF reader... it only wants to do the minimum so it can stay light and secure.

I tried this and it's ok. No stinking toolbar! I'm still not a Foxit person but it's a usable, less troublesome way to go if you are...

 

There may be a lack support for non-English languages. At least that's the impression I got here:

I have a comment on Foxit 5.0 it messed up my desktop icons when I installed it and it Messed up my desktop icons when I uninstalled it, I uninstalled it with Revo I saw just how much garbage the built in uninstaller left when most appys leave far less garbage.

 

A few years back I changed from foxit (which used to be quite light) to sumatra (v1.6 out now)
Many years back I changed from adobe (never been light) to foxit.
sumatra is perfect for my needs.

Foxit 5 is 24.9 MB on my computer, it feels good and light. If you use the
updater from within, it will install fine but you ll have Foxit4 and Foxit5 in
programs files. So, its better to uninstall Foxit4. Thats how I did it.
