IS ther any possible way to open pdf files to open directly within firefox (portable),just like adobe reader , where we can open and simultaneously stream the pdf file.

I dont want to download and automatically open outside firefox.

I am already using nitropdf extension , but it downloads and opens the pdf , instead of direct streaming of the pdf as in adobe reader.
Can somebody post the screenshot of inbuilt pdf viewing , throgh pdf xchange viewer?
I get the following on pdf xchange viewer .I need to view it inside firefox.

In order to view PDFs in Firefox with PDF-XChange Viewer, you need to do the following (in Firefox):

    1) Tools >> Options >> Applications

    2) Locate "PDF-XChange Viewer Document" (under Content Type)

    3) Under Action, change "Use PDF-XChange Viewer (default)" to "Use PDF-XChange Viewer (in Firefox)".

Knowing that PDFs have become the target of constant attacks, it seems like a bad idea to open them inside of a browser, which is also the target of constant attacks. So, I no longer open them inside of a browser and turn off the option in every PC I deal with, including those at work...

I don't use the portable version. Actually, I have the Pro version (paid) which has a few features that are missing from the free version.

Regardless, both free and paid have plugins allowing for the ability to display PDFs in browsers. That is accomplished via a checkbox (in preferences) which I'm pretty sure the portable version doesn't contain.
