found virus and keeps comming back

    my antivirus keeps finding this virus then telling me to reboot to compleatly rid it or whatever. so i reboot and it finds it again and agaion . what do i do this is what it finds

    Maybe you have a rootkit? Try Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit.

    Since malware removal is against the forum's TOS, I'd suggest you first contact your AV vendor (F-Secure in this case) so that they confirm that what is detected is not a false positive.

    Additionally, without any specific information you cannot get specific help, and accurate info is what is needed in this situation. Another option is to search for forums like BleepingComputer, Geeks To Go or Malwarebytes forum, register in one of them, and ask there for malware removal advise from experts.

    would malware bytes be any better for malware then prevx? am doing a scan with previx now

    2. Prevx is no longer really developed, and won't remove threats for free

    Also, why is malware removal not allowed on this forum?

    I would run Hitman Pro and see what it says. Just my $.02 worth... :)

    i own prevx, im gonna check into malware bytes because i dont own that or maybe i could download another free scanner and check it
