Seems tobe free...nice GUI, fine detection...but working in one time even 13 processes its a little bit terrible. It's more featured than FC Lite but less than full 4.7 "Endpoint".

really impressed with this freeware. the built-in web filter/blocker is unbeatable and it has an option to lock the configuration.

although it might use more RAM than similar programs, it is quite light on the system (in real world terms).

i will now be installing this antivirus on all non-corporate clients.

Looks good, I might install it for clients, instead of PandaCloudAV.

9-10 processes. Just tested it today in VM.
Web Guard (Parental Control) is great, just like BD has (blocked 99.9% of links). :thumb:
AV has no settings at all, only enable/disable (1 file detected that bypassed Parental).
VPN I don't need and firewall is also very limited.

Ahhh....I don't remember exactly (uninstalled it after test) but it was somewhere between 50-80 MB (depending on tasks it was doing).

Not too bad. Might be a handy program to put on clients machines, now that its free.

Web filter holds it's own with any AV. 9 processes using 50-70 mb. VB 100 rates it with Bit defender and you can see how it does on several YouTube reviews. Pretty impressive.

Yeah the Web filter is dynamite. It ran pretty light regardless of it having 9 procs running at 70K.

Issues regular updates, plays well with other programs, don't recall hearing their website has been hacked, either.

hmm i had 13 procc's and used way more than 70mb.. still fairly light. as stated the web filter catches literally just about anything i have thrown at it. the av leaves a bit to be desired imo but better than the free bd. the web filter pretty much stops everything though before it even hits the system. scanning was a bit slow and has little options but this could be one of the best free ones yet

Nobody cares about ram usage these days.

Lightness = low system drag, faster application speed, browsing speed. Not the ram of something. I haven't worked on a machine with less than 4GB of ram in years, most have 8-16GB these days. It's a non-issue.

that is not the entire thing. it is bigger than 24mb....that doesnt include all the folders and the registry keys etc... still as i said its not to bad overall.

and i for one care about ram usage. doesnt matter how much i have installed. and im not the only one so saying no one cares you are very wrong. i also will not install anything that is super heavy on any clients system even if free. this however is still in being tested by me before i start installing it on anyone's system. there is a bit of drag but not to much.

There are 87 Forticlient files/folders/items in C drive, all in kbs. I did a calculation in my head and the 24 megs looked correct. Anyone using this av have an exact figure of Forticlient's disk footprint? We'd like to know. Thanks.
