I started experimenting with Opera 12.15 and was wondering if anyone knows of an extension that will force all links to open in new tabs like Tab Utilities in Firefox. In Settings I've disabled:

Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Tabs > Reuse current tab

Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Tabs > Open windows instead of tabs

But some sites still reuse the current tab. I looked through the tab extensions at Opera but didn't see anything like what I'm looking for, thought I may have missed it.

I've always just middle-clicked on a link to open it in a new tab.

Personally I always Right-click and "open link in new tab" works in all browsers afaik :)

It's a click on the scrolling wheel. It opens a new tab in the background and works in all browsers as well.

Haha Yes that's exactly what happened when I tried, though that button (scroll wheel) is harder to push down since I haven't used it for this purpose before. I think I will continue to right-click for now lol ;)

But it's good to know incase the right mouse button stops working :thumb:

The middle click's a good idea. I wasn't even aware of it. It's not that hard to push on my mouse so that sounds like the way to go. Thanks a lot stapp. :)
