SpyBotSD discovered this weirdo key in my registry:  Flyer2Soft

Anyone here know what that might be?

    Checkout,

I checked with one of our guys who build the screen saver, have it installed as well. Before releasing it, it has a) been screened for spyware with Ad-aware b) a sniffer has been used to check for any outbound connections.

    Both came up clean.

    regards.

Thanks, Paul.  At least I know where it came from now.   It's a shame Windows programmers feel compelled to litter the registry with seemingly useless entries, though.

I agree with Fred Langa who wrote not long ago that the Windows Registry was the "worst computing idea of the decade." Don't you long for the good old days of installing a program and everything was right there in the directory?

Yep. Batista was still running Cuba, every man tipped his hat when passing by, and 10 gallons gasoline did cost you just one buck. Ah, those were the days... ;)

    regards.
