We are getting this rather baffling error:

    Floating point exception/usr/lib/Acronis/TrueImageServer/TrueImageCmd --restore --filename:/opt/esm/images/lxdemo01.tib --harddisk:3 --target_harddisk:2 --type:active --progress:eek:ff

every time we run a shell script using the Java runtime.exec() API.

If we run the exact same script from the Linux command line it works.

If we put the commands into a Windows .bat file and run the same Java code under windows it works.

If we modify the commands inside the shell script to be:
    /usr/lib/Acronis/TrueImageServer/TrueImageCmd --list --filename:/opt/esm/images/lxdemo01.tib

    it works!

It is only when running a restore under java on Linux that we have an issue.

We are using j2sdk1.4.2_12 on both Linux and Windows.

does anybody have any idea or solution to this strange issue?

    cheers
