    Hello,

I am hoping someone can help me. I want to install a flash player on my computer so my kids can play online games.

I know that by doing this I open myself to many possible problems, is the flash player a good one or are there better players out there that will allow my kids to play on most web sites?

Currently I am using spywareblaster as well as Mcafee firewall, will these stop the player from running or loading?

Thx in advance for your help.

    Hi Boom, and welcome,

I might be wrong, and of course if that's the case I'm sure quite a few will jump in to correct me. ;)

But I'm fairly certain that the Flash technology is proprietary, and nothing but the Macromedia Flash player (which essentially becomes a browser plug-in) can handle it.

    Best,
    Mike
