Uninstaller and installers available here: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer11-2.html

Finally invisible background updating, no more telling people to update their flash player!

I'm actually tempted to try it out.

Background updates don't help me much considering I'm on Chrome. Multithreaded rendering is very cool.

It's about damn time. Flash is a pain in the arse to keep up with as it is, and this will help beat exploits sooner as well possibly.

Thanks! I installed the beta and it's working quite well. Couple of things to note, though:

    1) Background updating, ostensibly, won't be available until the release version.

    2) I continually get the product name and version number whenever flash runs (e.g., "Adobe® Flash® Player 11 (11,2,202,18d) (Incubator build)").

I'm on Win7 x64 Pro and I can't install it. Once I open the installer, the icon vanishes and a process starts but no update. Anyone with the same prob?

    Makes sense.

Yup, this is the first beta build of flash I've seen doing this, not sure why.

For me this build seems to install but is not working on chromium. Is anyone else having this problem?

    Thanks for the update.

Can't wait for it to hit Chrome.

11.2 beta 3 has been released, those with auto updates enabled will already have the update. It really is great. :)

It's working great for me as well. The only issue I had involved one update for plugin browsers; since I had Firefox open, I got the update but had to manually delete the old .dll file.
