Just discovered another subtle difference in the two programs.

Lets say in First Defense you are working in Current Snapshot, and you have a Backup Snapshot. You haven't refreshed Backup in over a week and you've been merrily making word doc's etc. Suddenly you BSOD and can't boot back into windows. No problem, you boot to Backup. But here's the catch. If where you've stored the data was anchored you are in great shape. If it wasn't anchored you are out of luck. Recovered system yes, word doc's no. At this point it is to late. If you didn't have the files anchored they are gone.

Same scenario with Rollback. You have Backup snapshot from a week ago, and are working in Current but no new snapshot in over a week. Many new doc's etc. Then the BSOD and can't boot to windows. Here what you do is access the preboot Subsystem Console. There you can take a snapshot of the crashed system, and then restore into Backup. Once in Backup you can retrieve the word doc's from the crashed snapshot.

    Cool feature.
