Firewalls that Tweak Windows 7 Firewall w/o .NET?

    I know TinyWall and I believe Windows Firewall Control use .NET.

    Are there any add ons to tweak Windows Firewall that do not use .NET?

    Why not use .NET ? It is already integrated in the operating system. Windows Firewall Notifier is also developed under .NET. I don't think you will find an alternative that uses only native code.

    TinyWall works with the already installed 3.5 on W7.
    WFC 4 you have to download net 4. Gives me a slight slow-down.

    NET. up to 4.5., supports the latest applications.

    There's no reason not to get it - given its Microsoft's universal program runtime.
