I wanted a firewall that can backtrace the intruder & provide the information about the intruder, I know blackice works fine, but unfortunately it caused a conflict with nod32, anyone has a suggestion about other firewalls that have a backtrace ability?

    Thanks, ;)

If you use Outpost V2, there is a plugin available which allows you to find out more info about your attacker and sometimes complain to the attackers ISP if you choose.

There are also websites that can provide plenty of information on a specific IP address - the one I have found the most useful is DNSStuff.

There are several such sites available to use for free.

Keep in mind that using some of the backtrace utilities in firewalls will result in your system directly contacting the IP being querried. (ie. your backtrace could show up in their logs)

As suggested, online resources/utilities are probably preferable for doing this.
