Firewall and update problem

    Hi, Im in a LAN connection, And the real problem is, client workstations including server cannot update, And when i turn OFF the ESS Server Firewall, All updates. Hey, The firewall is useless if i keep it tuning off just to get updates on all my workstations? Need a big help, if how will i update all my workstations with my ESS Firewall is Turned ON.:(

    How is your firewall setup. What setting is it on.

    its setting is on allow sharing and automatic mode. its on default and i did'nt touch anything... help please

    The predefined rules allow update in either mode. Could you try enabling logging of all blocked connections and then check the firewall log for details? Couldn't it be that you are using ESS in conjunction with another firewall that is preventing ekrn from accessing the Internet?
