firefox update history-wierd dates

    Ive just noticed the dates of firefox updates in update history seem rather wierd.They are the same on the g/fs laptop too.Anyone else have this?

    Nope, although i notice my 3.5 update says new version but yours has security update.

    1st Jan 1970 is the Unix Epoch, so any Unix timestamp you see is calculated by the amount of seconds elapsed since that date/time. So when there's corruption with timestamps, it regularly shows as that date. Even this forum software (vBulletin) can often show users registered/posted on that date when converting databases etc.

    mine says the last update was installed December 31 1969.

    FYI. According to this recent mozillaZine thread: "update history" Dec 31, 1969?, one of their Moderators states that it's a time stamp fault, and nothing to worry about.
