Download and install Firefox 16.0.1 and see if your issue is resolved.

In that case, revert to Firefox 15 and you may want to wait for a future FF update to resolve the issue.

The updates are being released far too quickly.version 17 is in beta alreadyo_O
Its odd because i was using 16.0.1 only yesterday with no problems and it was faster than v15 but i restored an image this morning and now firefox will not open.
    Strange.

FWIW in the past I was 98% FF and 2 % IE.

Now with the improved security on IE9 64 bit W7 hardened up it is reversed for me 98% IE9. Inside sandboxie.

With the massive and frequent updates to FF and Googles ill advised privacy policy changes (IMHO of course) I don't update FF if I can avoid it.

I'm on version 12. I hate the forced update crap they foist on me. The arrogancy of vendors never ceases to amaze me.

Does anybody here at Wilder's actually KNOW why Firefox is in this constant updates/ change change change mode/constant churning mode business model?:thumbd:

They must have been taken over by the inmates from Marketing U.

Either one will do but bat does sound better.:D
I know its a good browser but they need to take it down a notch or two.Rushing updates IMO just brings bugs and possible security holes.

Actually Firefox/Thunderbird updates are pushed out by a Windows service called "maintenance.exe". It updates silently in the background. You can either turn off the service or install a Firefox ESR version if you only want security updates and not the latest versions of Mozilla software.
