Which one you suggest? Especially that can also download a flash video that is actually linked and embedded from other sites. Youtube has many downloaders but I find it difficult to download falsh videos from many sites.

    Thanks

Hmm.. I am not sure if my wording was correct. Any way here is the example. This page has a video that is actually on you tube.

I tried to download it but download helper did not help. :(

BTW I saw you after long time. :)

I was able to download that video using FlashGot.

After installing the extension, just go to the page and begin playing the video, then just right-click on the page and select FlashGot Media.

Download Helper works for me there. You have to allow js in noscript for it though. The old Unplug - which i edited so it works with the newest version - allows you to drill through and reach youtube, without the need for js.

Either way, being a youtube video, you can always fetch it from the temp folder, after it's fully downloaded/cached by Firefox. I don't remember the exact path in Windows (documents and settings\somewhere), in Debian it's just /tmp .
