Recently noticed a problem in the latest Firefox where site addresses do not appear in the address bar, it simply remains blank. Can't believe this is how it should be.

Also a really weird problem with this site, when I click on the icon to go to last post in a thread, it does not go to the last post but the one before the last.

I love opera, but I hate ads!! Help!
I need to block all ads from opera like ad-block plus of Mozilla without blocking useful websites and images.

Thats strange, did you put it in the correct folder? See if its working by going to preferences>content>blocked content to see if there are any entries listed. If not it means the urlfilter.ini has not been placed in the proper folder.

Currently I don't see ads in any of the pages I visit and that includes Amazon, Major Geeks, File Forum, Tom's Hardware, Anandtech, Audioholics, Shop Forum etc.

    Hello raakii,
If admuncher has problems with certain pages just report them

Can you send me the sites where you see the ads, if you send them to Fanboy, he adds them up right away.

In site preferences, you can specify javascript and plugins per site, you can also globally turn off java script and plugin via tools>quick preferences.

An easier way is to use user.js from http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=241208

This was the major pop up producer for me.I disabled javascript to remove it.Not even mozilla or chrome was able to stop this through adblock.

Major problem with opera is that it does not work well at all with social networking sites like google's orkut--especially the chat notification and it gets struck in an infinite loop during orkuts session restore. .Waiting for fixing this problem.

Currently even latest IE7 doesn't seem to be working well with Orkut, guess what, the only browser that does work well is Google's own CHROME. However Opera is working fine with Facebook, even the newer one thankfully.
