    wutsup, Firefox and IE8 have built-in RSS readers.

    thx jr for the info. so there is no way to remove rss feeds from firefox or ie8? and everyone that uses firefox for ie8 has the built in rss feeds?

    I've wanted to get rid of rss feeds for ages, but never found a way :( What i did to potentially block any such thing is this

    No rss feeds here :) but the icon is still there in the navigation bar :( Doesn't do any harm though :)

    Perhaps in Bookmarks -> RSS ?
