Seems to be running fine here too. :)

Since getting help from their forums (fora?) is practically hopeless, anyone here know if there's any "Options" that are new or should have their former settings changed, like often happens with IE updates and Internet Options?

    :D Thanks Guys,

Just heard a few minutes ago & I didn't want to install without first finding out if there were any problems with the new 1.0.4 version. Exactly the thread I was looking for !! :D

    Cheers,

Oh, one comment about a glitch in Mozilla's otherwise neat install-over setup -- 1.0.3 will still be in your Add-Remove list, along with 1.0.4. Use a utility like JV-16 or TweakUI to remove it from there (remove, don't uninstall).

Hopefully one of these days (but I'm not holding my breath) they'll get their act together and fix that.

The way I usually install FF is to first uninstall FF from add/remove programs but leave the FF folder in Program Files. Then do a fresh install of the new version of FF, instead of just installing right over the old version. It seems to go much better for me this way.

So far FF 1.0.4 has been working great. I sure am glad the Mozilla team is right on top of things with these fixes. Imagine if it was IE, who knows how long would we have to wait for the fixes. Much thanks to the Mozilla Team. Firefox is still the #1 browser in my book!
