Actually it's very easy to fix the bug yourself.

You can either download the fix via Extensions or do it manually, which I did.

Using Firefox of course, open a new window/tab

1 Type " about:config " in the address bar [no quotes]
2 Look for the " network.protocol-handler.external.shell ' line
3 If you see that line the value must be false.
4 Just double click the entry, a box opens, simply type in " false " and OK

OR... if no line found...

5 Right click anywhere in the window...
6 Select New/Boolean
7 In the Box put " network.protocol-handler.external.shell " [without quotes]
8 OK that, you get new box, type in false. OK that.

You will see a new line.. it WILL be in bold, as it was user initiated.
I did it like that and it worked, but I also tested the download patch to check and it put it in over the bold.

Close FF and restart, type about:config again, and check to see if it takes.
