    Hi,

    I did a fresh install of win7 sp1 64bit on a new machine. Downloaded ESET nod32 AV4 business edition 64bit from eset website. (v4.2.76)

I am using firefox but I have the same problem in IE8

1-I try to download a big file (in this case a 200 MB *.rar). Download is ok
2- I try a second download. The download seems to stop at 99% and after a while it finishes. File is corrupt. 3 to 6 bytes missing.
3- If I keep trying the same thing happens. File corruption
    4- I disable nod 32 temporarily
5- I try a third download. File is ok

    smaller files don't have problems.

I have read the issue about KB2735855 on file corruption but I don't have that update in my system.
So it seems that NOD AV4 is the source of the problem at least with win 7

In another machine I have nod av4 32 bit and win xp sp3 and file download is fine. I tried the same file to test.

    Does anyone have this issue?

    Thanks
    JM

Did you check the installed Windows updates to make sure? The update KB2735855 is installed automatically.

    Hi,

I did check my windows updates using the string 2735855 and it gave me nothing.

However following your question I used KB2735855 in the search box and it found it!!! weird search!

So I guess after all I have the same reported problem...

    Thanks for the reply
