Is it possible to use TI10 to "back up" data without having it put into proprietary .tib format?
The reason I ask is that I have a new external hard drive that will be my second data backup location, but it would also serve as a portable copy of all my data, for accessing elsewhere. I'd like it if TI10 could let me use incremental backup-style operations to essentially synchronize folders, but keep it accessible? Is this possible?

    Thanks.

Compression is not what makes the format proprietary. If you want a non-proprietary format then use XCOPY.

I like Second Copy 7. Files in the backup partition are exact copies of the originals. Synchronizes folders in a few minutes.

OK, guess that would be a "no".

I'm going to use Microsoft's SynchToy for now. Thanks for the guidance.
